Eilyn Paulina is a Dominican worship singer and songwriter from Santo Domingo. She is a communications professional by training, began composing as a teenager, and grew up between a musical father and a mother who sang. She serves in the Iglesia de Dios concilio in the Dominican Republic.

A three-song demo

She began with a demo of three songs. It travelled further than that format usually does — through several regions of the country, and out to the United States and Brazil — and it is what got the first album made.

Tiempo de Gloria

The debut arrived on November 11, 2017, launched the same evening at the Iglesia de Dios on Manuel Ubaldo Gómez in Villa Consuelo, with a DVD recorded live at the event. Ten original songs, arranged across ballad and ballad-rock rather than a single register: Quiero Adorar, Tiempo de Gloria, Dios Hará, Busca Un Corazón, Vengo Con Sed, Te Damos Gloria, Dios De La Eternidad, Soy Libre, Hoy La Gloria and Solo Tú.

The session players are worth naming. Adiel Santana arranged and produced it at Riff Music Estudio; Danny Hernández played bass and served as musical director, work he has also done for Christine D’Clario; and the guitar was Josué Capel, of Barak’s band. She has described the record as what came out of a long stretch of time spent in prayer, turned into melody.

Origen Live

The second album, Origen Live, was cut as an intimate production recorded among friends and family. Declara Una Alabanza, its second single, was released on September 20, 2024. A La Altura De Tus Pies is among the other songs she is known for, and Quiero Amarte was her first recorded cover.
