Secreto «El Famoso Biberón» — Odalis Pérez, born in Santo Domingo in 1987 and raised in the barrio of La Ciénaga — is a Dominican rapper and dembow artist. He made his name around 2010 with «Toy quillao», an aggressive street rap written, as he put it, to let off steam, and within a decade the press was describing him as one of the pillars of Dominican urban music.

La Ciénaga

Music ran in the family: his father, Olivo Pérez, was a bachata singer and his brother Alexander a mambo artist. What began, in his words, as a joke got him into trouble at home, where his mother waited up for him to come back from rapping and wanted him to finish secondary school. His lyrics took their subjects from what he saw around him — the street, money, sex, the feuds between rappers — and did not spare the swearing.

«Yakuza Records»

In July 2010, at twenty-two, he was working with a second voice, Lolo Jey, and DJ Johnny, and preparing a first album of some twenty songs for «Yakuza Records», among them «Toy quillao», «Me tienen para», «Paqueteros» and «Pa’ que te dé». He later credited the label with trusting him at a time when getting into a professional studio was hard. «Toy quillao» became his first hit as a solo artist, played in the barrios and in the clubs alike.

A reference for newcomers

Being brought onto one of his records came to count as promotion in itself. His «La vuelta», which also featured Nino Freestyle, was the record that first took El Fecho RD beyond his home scene; he recorded «Envidioso» with El Mayor Clásico, Ceky Viciny and Bulova, and has worked with Cromo X. In 2018, touring Europe, he released «Real guerrero», which passed eight million YouTube views in two weeks, and said he wanted his songs to carry messages of self-improvement as well as the party sound of the clubs.

Recent years

His most played songs now include «Trucha», recorded with Chimbala, Chucky73 and El Fother, and «Papá Dios me dijo». In 2026 he guested on «El Jaguar», the album by Musicólogo the Libro, and released the single «Rata».

Legacy

Secreto belongs to the generation of rappers from the poor neighbourhoods of Santo Domingo who turned their surroundings into the raw material of dembow. His motto, he says, is that unity is strength, and he has recorded with many of the younger artists who came up after him.
